Avid Digidesign’s Venue SC48 digital mixing
console is a compact live sound solution that
combines I/O, digital signal processing, with built-in support for a number of plug-ins. It features direct
connection to Pro Tools LE, allowing for recording of
shows, and Virtual Soundcheck, a process that allows
users to playback and mix tracks from a previous performance using a computer connected via USB. Channel control lets users display and adjust any channel parameter
with a single click of a button. Eight parameters can be assigned to the color-coded
framework for immediate access during the mix. VCA and Group Spill provides control
and quick access to grouped channels within a mix by focusing the control surface
layout to match the logical groupings created by VCA and Group style mixing. The SC48
uses the same Venue D-Show software as the rest of the Venue Series of products,
allowing for easy transition of show files between systems.

Kevlar cable and one of four connec-
tors designed to mate with a variety of
wireless transmitters, the DA12 features
a water-resistant, 2. 5 mm diameter omni-
directional capsule that delivers 20 Hz to
20 kHz of frequency response. A hypoal-
lergenic cushion is placed over a flexible,
sprung-steel mechanism designed to fit
ears of all sizes. The lavalier mic can be
clipped behind the user’s collar behind the
head, and comes with a zippered carrying
case to store the mic and its adaptors.

powered subwoofer that

21-inch transducer. The Class D amplifier features 8.5 k W peak power, full DSP, allowing for low frequency sound reproduction
in installations. Combining the transducer, amplifier and DSP doubles the output capability of a conventionally-driven loudspeaker driver of the same size, delivering 152 dB
peak output (measured) from a single enclosure. The ASX includes a proprietary Hybrid
large folded horn and ported design (- 3 dB 30 Hz), a single 21-inch driver with 6-inch
voicecoil driver with a 2.4-inch peak-to-peak excursion, a switched mode power supply,
and on-board DSP providing delay, EQ and filtering.

MediaMatrix ControlMatrix System d
The MediaMatrix ControlMatrix integrated hardware and
software system has been redesigned to include a more
streamlined configuration. ControlMatrix is a paging control
system for MediaMatrix digital audio systems, which can
be used as a centralized, distributed or hybrid system. The new
model can support up to 16 stations per host, while the number of hosts
can be scaled according to the total number of stations needed. Complete button management functionality, extensive audio routing and
up to 99 levels of priority assignments allow advanced customization, and its standalone user interface supports remote TCP/IP, allowing
