Biema IVA Line Array
d
Biema’s Installation Vertical Array (IVA) is the company’s smallest line
array system, constructed with a Class H power amp, matched to
the enclosure. The built-in amplifier features DSP processing, with
a selectable voltage of 115 V or 230 V. The system features nine
adjustable splay angles, with a secure rigging system. The rear-mounted amplifier has two level control knobs – one for the IVA and
one for the IVA sub. It provides 300 W continuous power and 600 W
of peak power. The system also features a blue LED power indicator
on both the front and rear of the cabinets. www.biema.us
BSS Audio BLU-BOB Expander
d
BSS Audio’s BLU-BOB is an output expander that is part of the Soundweb London
family of products. It features eight analog audio outputs on standard terminal
block connectors, and the 256-channel, low-latency, fault tolerant digital audio bus,
also found on the BLU-800, BLU-320, BLU-160 and BLU-120 devices. The digital
audio bus uses standard, CAT 5e or CAT 6 cable, enabling a distance of 100 meters
between devices. The BSS Audio MC- 1 fiber optic media converter can be used to
increase the distance between devices to over 10 km ( 6. 2 miles) using single mode
fiber. Multiple BLU-BOB devices can be configured to receive the same or different
8-channel ranges. Signal present and power status are displayed on the front panel
LED indicators for monitoring. www.bssaudio.com
Yamaha MSR250 Loudspeaker
d
Yamaha’s MSR250 loudspeaker delivers 200 watts via a 10-inch woofer and a 1-inch
titanium diaphragm compression driver, providing response from 55 Hz to 20 kHz. The
lightweight cabinet includes a three-input mixer. Inputs, including XLR, ¼-inch and RCA,
plug into the rear panel, which also offers a 2-band EQ and line out for system expansion.
The cabinet’s asymmetrical shape eliminates internal standing waves. It can be used as a
PA loudspeaker for smaller gigs, or as an on-stage monitor. www.yamaha.com/livesound
